In the cockpit of the vehicle there will be a switch that controls the source of the fuel feed. It also shows the current fuel levels, and will notify you if you run out of LPG with a visual and audio notification. Before the engine has reached the required operating temperature, the switch will show which fuel source is being used and if activated, will silently automatically show the switch over to LPG.
